Because carrier pay varies by lane, week, season and equipment. A number generated before a coordinator reviews your route isn't a quote you can rely on — it's a placeholder that gets revised.

How long is a quote valid?

Market conditions move, so quotes are time-limited and the written quote states its own validity. If it lapses, we re-check the lane rather than honoring a stale number that no carrier will accept.

Do you require a deposit?

No deposit is requested before a carrier is assigned to your vehicle.

Can you ship a vehicle that doesn't run?

Accepted Answer

Yes. What matters is whether it rolls, steers and brakes. If it does, a winch-equipped carrier can usually load it. If it doesn't, we source equipment built for that, which changes the price but not the answer.

Do you handle salvage and collision vehicles?

Routinely — from auctions, insurance yards and body shops. Tell us about missing wheels, seized brakes, fluid leaks or a body that can't be strapped normally.

Can I ship a motorcycle?

Yes, typically in enclosed equipment with chocks and soft straps. Crating is available on some lanes.

Can I leave personal items in the vehicle?

Carrier cargo insurance covers the vehicle, not its contents, and added weight affects legal load limits. Ship the vehicle empty apart from factory equipment.

Can you move more than one vehicle at a time?

Yes — from two up to a full load. Multi-vehicle moves are often more efficient per unit than shipping the same cars separately.

How long does transport take?

Transit depends on distance, corridor density and the carrier's route. Cross-country moves commonly run about a week to ten days in transit; regional lanes are faster. We give you a realistic window and update you when it changes.

Can you guarantee a specific date?

Not on standard service. Weather, traffic, inspections and multi-stop routing all move real schedules. Guaranteed dates require a specific guaranteed service purchased and confirmed in writing.

What does door-to-door actually mean?

The carrier gets as close to your pickup and delivery addresses as is legal and physically safe for a 75-to-80-foot trailer. Where a street won't accommodate that, you meet the driver at a nearby wide lot.

What happens at pickup and delivery?

The driver documents condition on a bill of lading at pickup. At delivery you inspect against that document before signing. Note anything new on the paperwork at that moment — it's the basis of any claim.
