Downtown Miami, Brickell and much of South Beach are built around high-rise condos with limited loading zones, valet-only circular drives, and tight parking garages that a 75-foot carrier simply cannot enter. For these addresses, carriers typically meet at a nearby wide street, garage exit, or commercial lot rather than attempting the building entrance directly. Coral Gables and Coconut Grove, by contrast, have more traditional residential streets that often allow closer curbside access.

Why Miami sees so much luxury and exotic vehicle traffic

Miami's concentration of luxury dealerships, international buyers, and collector activity means enclosed transport requests are more common here than in many other Florida markets. Exotic and high-value vehicles benefit from enclosed trailers that shield them from road debris and weather during transit, and from carriers experienced in loading low-clearance vehicles without scraping undercarriages.

Despite Miami's luxury-vehicle reputation, the majority of shipments in and out of the city are everyday open-carrier moves — daily drivers, dealer inventory, and family vehicles. Open transport remains the most cost-effective and widely available option, and it's the right call unless the vehicle's value, rarity, or condition specifically calls for enclosed equipment.

A car that rolls, steers and brakes generally loads onto a standard carrier; one that doesn't needs a carrier with winch or flatbed capability.
