For most personal vehicle shipments, pickup happens in the surrounding residential neighborhoods rather than directly on the Strip, and we'll help identify a workable spot near your specific address.
Relocation and dealer transfer volume
Las Vegas continues to draw relocations from California and elsewhere, along with a steady stream of dealer and wholesale vehicle transfers tied to the area's auto sales market. Job-related moves with a fixed date benefit from booking a couple of weeks ahead, while dealer pickups tend to move efficiently since lot staff are used to transport logistics.
Desert heat and long highway stretches
Summer temperatures in the Las Vegas Valley regularly exceed 105°F, and the surrounding desert highways add long stretches without services, both of which are hard on tires, batteries and rubber seals. A pre-shipment check of these components is worth it for an older vehicle, particularly if it's been parked for a while before pickup.

Henderson, Summerlin and North Las Vegas have grown substantially and generally offer easy, direct carrier access with wide streets and modern subdivisions. Some gated communities in these areas may still require a meeting point near the entrance, so mention any gate codes or access rules when booking.

Open carriers handle the large majority of Las Vegas shipments and offer strong availability on the I-15 corridor connecting Southern California, Las Vegas and Utah. Enclosed transport is a reasonable choice for classic or exotic vehicles, particularly those associated with car shows and events the city regularly hosts.
Preparing your car and inspecting it at delivery
Remove valuables and any belongings outside your confirmed personal-items allowance and toll-related equipment, leave roughly a quarter tank of fuel, and photograph the car before pickup. At delivery, compare the vehicle to your photos and note anything on the bill of lading before signing, since that paperwork governs how any later claim is handled. Select the personal-items option on your offer and confirm the assigned carrier's weight, packing and prohibited-item requirements before loading. The first 100 lb is included at no charge; each additional pound is $1, subject to confirmed carrier restrictions. Your selected allowance and charge appear on the offer. Personal belongings are not insured under this option; remove valuables, documents and fragile items. Vehicle coverage is subject to the assigned carrier's policy, limits and exclusions.
