In these cases, meeting the driver at a nearby shopping center or wider road is common and doesn't affect the quality of service, it's simply a matter of safe access.

Open carriers handle most Raleigh-area shipments and offer strong availability on the I-40 and I-85/I-95 corridors serving the Triangle. Enclosed transport remains an option for higher-value or classic vehicles where owners want extra protection from weather and road debris.
Prepping your car and checking it at delivery
Remove valuables and any belongings outside your confirmed personal-items allowance and toll transponders, leave roughly a quarter tank of fuel, and take clear photos before pickup. At delivery, compare the vehicle to those photos and record anything unusual on the bill of lading before signing, since that paperwork is what any later claim is evaluated against. Select the personal-items option on your offer and confirm the assigned carrier's weight, packing and prohibited-item requirements before loading. The first 100 lb is included at no charge; each additional pound is $1, subject to confirmed carrier restrictions. Your selected allowance and charge appear on the offer. Personal belongings are not insured under this option; remove valuables, documents and fragile items. Vehicle coverage is subject to the assigned carrier's policy, limits and exclusions.
